Incident manager

A practical course for effective management of cyber incidents in the NIS2 regime.

This training is intended for persons who will be responsible for coordinating cybersecurity in companies falling under the NIS2 Directive and Act No. 181/2014 Coll. Participants will gain an overview of legislative requirements and practical tools for security management.

Training syllabus

• Legal framework (NIS2, Cybersecurity Act, NÚKIB regulations)
• Roles and responsibilities of a cybersecurity manager
• Policies, strategies and security measures
• Security documentation management
• Communication with management and the regulator
• Practical exercises and case studies

Methodologies and standards used

• ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• NÚKIB – Regulations No. 82/2018 Coll., 316/2014 Coll.
• Directive (EU) 2022/2555 (NIS2)

Final exam

The training includes a written test and simulated incident, which verifies practical mastery of the material. After successful completion, the participant receives a „Certificate of Competence for the role of Incident Manager“.
